Assist in the oversight of Income Audit to insure completeness and accuracy.

Provides oversight in Accounts Payable by verifying check amounts and coding against invoices.Meets accounting financial standards by providing accounting department annual budget information monitoring expenditures identifying variances implementing corrective actions.Meets accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards resolving problems identifying system improvements.

Accomplishes accounting objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees communicating job expectations planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions recommending compensation actions adhering to policies and procedures.

The Staff Accountant is responsible to assist in closing of the hotels' financial statements and other general accounting duties as needed. This position is scheduled during normal business hours and will supervise and assist with problem solving in all mentioned areas and will report to the Controller.
